it's a 5vz but the intake manifold is flipped in that pic but has normal orientation in the others...:shrug:

I believe it is flipped around in order for the hood to clear.

Exactly.
He's not the only one, there have been a couple to cut down the intake manifold and flip it the other way to clear the hood on a body drop.

:headbang: That's right! V6 on 20s set up for a stock hood needs to have the intake flipped and machined. It makes for some odd faces at shows, but it gets the job done!
Aside from the engine light coming on once in a while, it runs just like it did before! :waytogo:

seen it in person many times at various shows (like last sat. night :waytogo: ) ... truly beautiful truck!!!
