The truck has 62k miles on it I am asking $22,500. I know there's cheaper ones around but they dont have the high end stuff this has on board. This truck get it's props where ever it goes. I auto crossed it once and took 16th place out of a field of forty cars. The corvettes were a little faster I was dead even with the porsche boxter. Any questions? let me know if you want it. I want someone from here to buy it. If not it goes on Ebay next week. I had all the cash I needed to build this truck at the time and it still took me two years to get the work done. A great deal of trial and error was involved in this build.
I bought some parts three times to find what actually works. There's a box
with $800 worth of chassis tech parts in the garage if you want that garbage you can have it. I never did get my money back from those bastards. The DJM arms work fine. Any way this sucks but I need a place to live more.

Thanks Alex, I ended up buying an ICC 125 Birel shifter cart right before the end.
Looks like that is going to be sold also. I was going to take it out to a meet. But that never happened. I did get to ride it once, it was a defining moment in my driving career. It was the fastest thing I have ever experienced absolutely astonishing! It really does remind me of all the formula one games on the computer. I'll buy another one when I get back on my feet.

What Chassistech parts? prices?
I'm assuming he's talking about leaf-springs and maybe even blocks (blocks are blocks....either steel or aluminium). He said he doesn't like chassis-tech (actually he said they're garbage.... )...and rides flex-a-form...made out of fiberglass, which are substantially lighter, stiffer, and maintain the shape (they won't sag ove time)....but they also cost about $450-500 per pair.
My chassis-tech work great for what I use them. I am assuming Brain (HotTaco) doesn't like 'em because he has lots of cleaning-sh!t for the pools....his truck is ALWAYS overload (that's why it looks soo slammed all the time.... ).....and having those chassis-tech it would make his truck sagging even more....
Chassis-tech leafsprings cost about $110-130 per pair, plus shipping if I remember correctly....
I know few others CT'zens that have flex-a-form.....it makes their truck a 4WD..... .....:doah:.....but they're very nice quality I should say :waytogo: .

What Chassistech parts? prices?
Ha ha ha h aha ha ha ha dude you can have that sh!t for free!!! come get it out of my garage aahhhhhh ha ha roflmao. it's a whole front end lowering kit with A-arms lower control arms and all the hardware. Their engineers were smoking pot when they made the stuff I'm sure they had fun getting paid for it. I lost $3500 in labor charges to change my front suspension twice.
The Flex-a form leaf springs on the other hand are really really great they were made originally for dirt track racing and provide a very stable cornering ability. I run an extra 300 pounds of weight in the back which balances the truck out nicely it really corners great. 16th place at the last autocross out of 40 cars. Faster than the porsche boxter by .10 sec slower than the autocross corvettes by .50 second. This truck was being constructed for driving on a road race circuit for track days. The construction was being done by a race car mechanic (ME!) and a local race minded shop my buddy Vaughn. I was going to install an aluminum block LS6 chevy motor at some point with 500hp to bad. Anybody want to start the save hot taco fund?

Clean Taco....But $2500 frame notch job professionally done:looney: ??? u payed 2500 for a C-notch that cost less then 500 bucks anywhere else??? I think i paid 2500 for my whole rear bag set-up, 4-link, STEP-notch, bags, compressors, valves etc.
Hot Taco
03-24-2007, 10:40 AM
Actually I should change that It was $1000 for the notch job and $1500 for the front suspension labor this work was all being done for road race setup not a bag setup and was all trial and error some stuff had to be replaced a few times with different parts in order to find a setup I felt happy with. Definitely not the chassis tech crap. The DJM arms ended up being cheaper and work better. The whole suspension was changed for the $2500 trial and error included I was satisfied with it when it was done though. I broke my back to find the correct setup for the 19's . Getting the ride height just perfect was a bitch.

I don't want to sell this truck really. But it's a matter of survival I'm not really trying very hard to sell it. It's kind of a half hearted thing. If another C/T'er buys it I will at least feel satisfied that it's going to someone who understands the amount of crap I went through to make it what it is.
