Did you disconnect anything? Did you check the fuses under the dash?

 

you blew the fuse under the dashboard for the lights... and yes, you rheostat could be jacked, but that is not likely...

 

The only thing I disconnected temporarily was the plug to the stereo so I could temporarily connect a light bulb to see if it would dim.

I checked all the fuses beneath the dash and under the hood and they're all fine. Plus, the stereo still dims when I turn the headlights on which is odd since it's on the same circuit as the dash lights and heater lights.

 

:selfbonk: Nevermind. The plug on the back of the dimmer knob was unplugged :selfbonk: It's usually something stupid like that. Thanks for the help though.

Now I just need to figure out how to find room to tap into the dimmer wires for my gauges.

 

When you fixed this did they all work? I'm having trouble with 75% of my dash lights being out, I wonder if it could be this?

I was just a moron and forgot to plug the plug back in on the back of the dimmer switch. Sounds like you need to replace a few individual bulbs.
